Education

To meet the challenges of an evolving P&O industry, its new products and new technologies, OrtoPed provides both accredited and casual continuing education opportunities to its clients, in the form of workshops, webinars, and product demonstrations:

  • Accredited workshops at your facility. Every year, scores of Canadian practitioners receive Continuing Education Credits by attending our technical and clinical workshops, in-house product demonstrations, and industry lectures. If you are interested in attending one of our accredited workshops, please contact a member of our sales team, or e-mail education@ortoped.ca. Workshops held at your facility require a minimum of 8 people. Credits may vary.

  • Instructional webinars Register for the latest live or recorded webinars sponsored by OrtoPed and our supplier partners. Webinars with MCE accreditation will be indicated with the respective organization.

  • Product demonstrations at OrtoPed (get a tour of the OrtoPed offices and meet the staff) or in the convenience of your facility.

Please note: Webinars are subject to application and approval of the respective participant organization that governs credits for continuing education. It is the responsibility of the webinar attendee to record and submit their individual activities to their governing body to prove attendance of the webinar, where applicable. OrtoPed ULC is only responsible for 1) submitting the webinar for accreditation to the respective organization that governs credits, 2) recording the information for those who plan to attend, 3) confirm attendance of an individual to a respective participating organization when necessary, and 4) supply the attendee with a certificate of completion once credits have been awarded.
