The HP Hoopster was conceived and designed by elite, bi-lateral, amputee athlete Hector Picard. Hector’s original model was refined, under his guidance, to make it more versatile to meet the needs of a broader audience.
- A stiff but flexible, polymer, dual surface hoop
- Dorsal and ventral (palmer) ball control surfaces
- Provides surfaces to dribble and expertly handle the ball
- Built-in stabilizing heel to help capture the ball quickly for greater speed and accuracy in handling the ball and shooting
- Pre-positionable, lockable, wrist angle mechanism optimizes the terminal device’s wrist extension
- Lightweight at only 6 ounces
- Useful for teenagers through adults and both below elbow and long above elbow hand absence
